“SEE WHAT’S MISSING” KICKS OFF OMNIACTIVE INSIGHTS EDUCATION SERIES AT VITAFOODS EUROPE

Dr. James M. Stringham, Ph.D. and Lynda Doyle, MS will be presenting their seminar, “See What’s Missing: Promoting Eye & Brain Health” at the 2014 Vitafoods Conference and Expo in Geneva, Switzerland on May 6, at 16:20 – 16:50 . As the opening session of the OmniActive Insights series, Dr. Stringham and Doyle will speak on the importance of lutein and zeaxanthin isomers in eye and brain health, with an emphasis on dietary gaps in the European market.

The Seminar Theater session aims to introduce manufacturers to market opportunities in the world of lutein and zeaxanthin isomers–key nutrients for eye and brain health–which cannot be produced naturally within the human body. Using the latest research on how these nutrients function in the eye and brain, Dr. Stringham and Doyle will address and educate the audience on unique category issues such as dietary gaps, why the European population is at risk and the neglected need for supplementation.
